I planted some seeds on Monday night, and have been eagerly awaiting their growth. Some varieties have now officially emerged from the dirt and i'm excited.
I have a great little wooden thing that you wrap newspaper around to make little pots. I wrote the plant type and date on the side, but of course when I water them the texta ran, leaving little rainbow edges...

How cool! What are you growing? Do you wrap the wooden "thing" in newspaper and then take the wooden thing out leaving a pot made of newspaper?

Sorry I wasn't more specific about it, but yes, you take it out to create the pot. I bought it online from Heaven in Earth.
As my markings washed off i'm not sure what it is yet, but we planted: mesclun, rocket, spinach, broad beans, carrots, spring onion and rosemary.
